Acceleration and Increased Effectiveness of Internal Processes with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central

We have just finished upgrading Microsoft Dynamics NAV 5.0 in the facilities of Automotive Spare Parts s.r.o. to the newest version of the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central information system, the latest on-premises version of the popular ERP system from the Microsoft Dynamics family.

Aside from technological progress, the main motivator for this system upgrade was the desire to increase the effectiveness and speed of internal processes and allow detailed monitoring of the economic development of the company.

The delivery of the upgrade also included implementation of a standard system encompassing Finance, Purchasing and Sales and Stock modules. The project proceeded exactly according to the budget and schedule: within 4 months we merged the new additions with the original version of the system including EDI/Škoda, implemented the stock module, consignment stocks and bills of materials and set up printing of labels including items and batches. The system went live in September 2019.
